How Online Sweepstakes Work
Learn the entry process at sweepstakes casinos, coin modes, no-purchase participation, limits and redemption verification.
Online sweepstakes casinos use promotional rules distinct from traditional real-money casino deposits. Read the sponsor’s official eligibility, free-entry and redemption documents before using a promotional balance.
How do Gold Coins and promotional Shuffle Cash differ?
On Shuffle.us, Gold Coins are for non-redeemable social gameplay. Shuffle Cash is a distinct promotional currency associated with sweepstakes play and potential prize redemption for eligible users under official rules. The two balances should never be described as identical money accounts.

What is the participation journey?
- Check eligibility: verify your physical location, age and current restricted-territory lists.
- Read the official promotion rules: understand available no-purchase methods and any limitations.
- Confirm the game mode: know whether your screen shows non-redeemable Gold Coins or sweepstakes-related Shuffle Cash.
- Read game-specific rules: do not assume equal odds or features across titles.
- Before redemption: check identity verification, playthrough requirements, minimums and available methods.

Why does “no purchase necessary” not guarantee a payout?
No purchase necessary refers to the existence of qualifying free participation methods, not automatic wins or guaranteed cash access. Outcomes depend on game mechanics and eligibility, and even potential redemption is subject to sponsor rules, verification and any applicable playthrough requirement.

Eligibility and free-entry rules can change
Shuffle.us's published Terms and Sweepstakes Rules currently show different state-exclusion lists. Treat that as an unresolved difference rather than inferring access from either list alone. Check current operator rules and location validation before participation. See eligibility guide.
